Job Summary
Performs activities involved in lens pulling, labeling, assembling and shipping of contact lens promotional kits to be used by eye care practitioners. Works under general supervision.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities
- Employee applies specific branding labels to kit components.
- Performs systematic receipt verification of transfer orders.
- Performs assembly of fit set kit components for eye care practitioners.
- Performs product restock and put-away tasks.
- Responsible for maintaining quality standards during the kit assembly process and performing quality control inspections on finished kits.
- Performs physical counts on kit inventory components to maintain high level of inventory accuracy.
- Prepares kit orders for shipment, including checking for accuracy (product and quantity) against shipping order and final packaging and labelling of shipping container. Delivers order to shipping/loading dock for pick up.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift, man-up, RF (radio frequency) gun experience preferred.
- 1 year experience in an inventory control or receiving environment preferred.
- Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements.
- Exhibits good communication skills – verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language.
- Basic PC skills.
- Forklift/man-up/RF gun experience preferred.
- Must possess high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Knowledge of ERP (enterprise resource planning) system a plus.
This role is performed in a warehouse environment with frequent exposure to noise, heat, humidity, and seasonal temperature extremes, and working near moving mechanical parts. The job requires significant physical activity, including standing and working near moving machinery most of the time, along with frequent reaching, handling, and coordination tasks. Employees may also occasionally lift up to 45 pounds, push or pull materials, and perform movements like bending, twisting, or climbing. Limited time is spent sitting or driving equipment such as forklifts, with most duties involving hands-on, active work.
