We are hiring\nexperienced, hands\-on <\/span><\/span>District Leads<\/span><\/span><\/b> to activate and scale a\ndistrict\-level ecosystem for skill education aligned with <\/span><\/span>NEP 2020<\/span><\/span><\/b> and <\/span><\/span>NCF\n2023<\/span><\/span><\/b> across Maharashtra. The District Lead will be the primary bridge\nbetween government departments (Education, Skill Development, Vocational\nEducation Boards), schools (government, private and aided), training partners,\nlocal industry, and community stakeholders. Your job is to coordinate\nimplementation, deliver training, monitor program quality, and catalyse local\npartnerships so that students \u2014 especially grades 6\u201312 and out\-of\-school youth\n\u2014 get relevant, competency\-based skill learning opportunities.<\/span>

1.Program leadership & coordination<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Act as the district/division focal person\n for all program activities; convene regular coordination meetings with\n District Education Officer (DEO), DIET, District Skill Development Office,\n Project Office of Tribal Development, Education Department of Municipal\n Corporation, Zilla Parishad/District Collectorate and other government\n functionaries.<\/span>

  • Map and onboard partner schools, training\n centres, NGOs, industry partners and community stakeholders.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Develop and maintain a district\-level\n implementation plan and calendar aligned with state guidance and NEP 2020\n / NCF 2023 priorities.<\/span>

    2.Training &\ncapacity building<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/span><\/p>

    • Plan and deliver Training of Trainers\n (ToT), teacher upskilling, and capacity\-building sessions for school\n teachers, vocational trainers, and Block Resource Persons.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Support headmasters to integrate\n competency\-based, experiential and assessment\-aligned activities into\n classrooms as per NCF 2023.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Create and adapt training materials,\n demonstration lessons<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      3.Implementation\n& pedagogy<\/span><\/span><\/b>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p>

      • Support schools to set up/upgrade skill\n labs, guest lectures, field visits, internships, skill mela and vertical\n mobility sessions.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Facilitate alignment of curriculum,\n learning outcomes and assessment practices with NEP 2020\u2019s focus on\n multidisciplinary and skill\-linked learning.<\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Promote inclusion (gender, disability,\n socio\-economic) in program design and delivery.<\/span>

        4.Coordination\n& Partnerships\- Ecosystem Development<\/span><\/span><\/b>
        <\/span><\/span><\/p>

        • Build relationships with local\n industries, MSMEs, skill training providers, ITIs, and PPP partners to\n create internship/apprenticeship pipelines.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Mobilise resources and local champions to\n sustain program activities.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Coordinate with District and Divisional\n offices of Project office\- Tribal Development, Collectorate, Skill Development,\n Zilla Parishad, and contribute to district\-level planning exercises.<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>
        • Support district/divisional level review\n meetings, trainings, job fairs and events assigned by the State Manager<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          5.Communication\n& Liaison<\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/span><\/span><\/p>

          • Act as the primary communication link\n between the State Program Team and district/division\-level government\n stakeholders.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Communicate program plans, timelines,\n approvals and expectations clearly to Field Officers, schools and\n partners.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Lead district review meetings and present\n progress, challenges and recommendations in a structured manner.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Ensure timely, accurate documentation and\n reporting aligned with government protocols.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>
          • Establish clear communication and\n escalation mechanisms across the district.<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

            6.Monitoring,\nevaluation & reporting<\/span><\/span><\/b>
            <\/span><\/span><\/p>

            • Set up simple, reliable monitoring\n systems (attendance, competency checklists, lab utilization, guest\n lecture, field visits, placement/internship records).<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Conduct periodic classroom visits, mock\n assessments and performance reviews; provide actionable feedback to\n schools and trainers.<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>
            • Maintain timely program reports, case\n studies, photo documentation and district dashboards for the State Office.<\/span>

              7.Community\nengagement & advocacy<\/span><\/span><\/b>
              <\/span><\/span><\/p>

              • Organise community/stakeholder awareness\n events, career counselling sessions for students, job fairs, internship\n celebration and employer\-school engagement forums.<\/span>

                Advocate for\nschool approvals, resource allocation and policy support at district/division\nlevels.<\/span>

                Requirements<\/h3>

                Minimum Experience:<\/span>
                <\/h3>
                • 4\u20137 years of program implementation\n experience in education, skill development, or livelihood programs \u2014\n preferably with government partnerships.<\/span>
                  <\/li>
                • Prior experience in Maharashtra with Government\n functionaries is highly desirable.<\/span>
                  <\/li>
                • Strong track record of training,\n stakeholder management and program monitoring.<\/span>
                  <\/li>
                • Proficiency in Marathi and English; basic\n Hindi desirable.<\/span>
                  <\/li><\/ul>

                  Educational Background<\/span>
                  <\/h3>
                  • Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Engineering,\n Vocational Education, Management or related field. Master\u2019s preferred. <\/span>

                    Skills & Competencies:<\/span>

                    • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing\n skills with government officials and industry.<\/span>

                    • Strong facilitation and teacher\-training,\n comfortable delivering Training of Trainers.<\/span>

                    • Good project management: planning,\n documentation, budgeting, and reporting.<\/span>
                      <\/li>
                    • Problem\-solver with a field\-first,\n flexible approach, multitasking, comfortable with travel and on\-the\-ground\n troubleshooting.<\/span>

                      This role is :<\/span>
