Your Role: District Sales Manager - Lucknow
As a District Sales Manager, you will be part of the India Dairy team to deliver sustainable growth and innovation to our customers. In this role, you’ll be responsible for advancing strategic account plans, fostering key industry relationships, and driving Value Beyond Product (VBP) across the region.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize sales and deliver Value Beyond Product (VBP) for key dairy customers and stakeholders.
Ensure business sustainability and growth by maintaining sales hygiene and achieving Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance) and external partners (Veterinarians, Stockists) to expand the Elanco network and influence.
Coordinate with channel partners to ensure smooth execution of sales and monitor financial parameters for regional business health.
Identify and resolve complex business challenges independently, leveraging dairy industry knowledge to anticipate and adjust to market trends.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science, Agriculture, or a related field
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in animal health sales or business management
Strategic account management and high-level stakeholder influence skills
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Proven track record in the Dairy industry within the India market
Strong financial acumen and experience managing Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) metrics
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
History of delivering Value Beyond Product (VBP) to key accounts
Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven territory management
