Open Water Scuba Instructor

Imagine your office is the sparkling, turquoise Mediterranean Sea. Are you a passionate, experienced, and energetic PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) ready to trade grey skies for guaranteed sunshine and a vibrant, underwater classroom?

Latchi Watersports Centre, the premier hub for marine adventure on Cyprus's breathtaking Akamas Peninsula, is seeking a high-calibre PADI Instructor to join our professional and supportive dive team for the 2026 season.


This isn't just a job; it's a lifestyle. You will be the face of underwater adventure, responsible for:


  • PADI Course Delivery: Expertly conducting the full spectrum of PADI programs, from Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba Diving experiences to the professional-level Divemaster course, always maintaining the highest PADI safety and quality standards.
  • Deliver Emergency First Responder (EFR) Courses to the highest standard.
  • Guided Expeditions: Leading unforgettable dives for certified guests through the stunning, often tranquil sites of the Akamas National Park, this includes night dives when required
  • Safety & Service: Upholding an absolute commitment to diver safety and providing world-class customer service that turns guests into lifelong divers.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintaining dive equipment to impeccable standards and actively contributing to the smooth, day-to-day operations of our busy centre.
  • Team Spirit: Being a flexible and proactive team player, willing to 'jump in' and assist with other critical areas of our business, including marina operations and our popular self-drive rental fleet.


Essential Requirements:

  • Age: Must be 18+
  • Legal Eligibility to work in Cyprus/EU is mandatory.
  • PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) or higher with active Teaching Status.
  • Own a full set of serviceable equipment
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for guest interaction.
  • Comfortable teaching minors
  • Possesses the ability to perform effectively in high summer temperatures.



Divemaster/DSD Leader

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and energetic individual ready to be a pivotal force in introducing students to the magic of the underwater world.

As a PADI Divemaster/DSD Leader, you will not just deliver instruction, you will cultivate a safe, encouraging, and awe-inspiring learning atmosphere. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping confident, passionate, and responsible divers who uphold respect for the marine ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Discovery: Conduct captivating PADI Discover Scuba Diving sessions.
  • Uphold Excellence: Ensure all activities strictly adhere to PADI standards.
  • Mentor and Monitor: Working with our Open Water Scuba Instructors, assess student progress and refine their diving proficiency.
  • Maintain Peak Performance: Keep diving equipment in pristine, optimal condition.
  • Champion the Ocean: Promote critical environmental awareness and conservation practices.
  • Guide the Way: Organise and lead unforgettable diving excursions for certified divers.
  • Team Spirit: Being a flexible and proactive team player, willing to 'jump in' and assist with other critical areas of our business, including marina operations and our popular self-drive rental fleet.


You are a dynamic, highly communicative, and customer-focused individual with a proven track record in a busy dive centre environment.


Essential Gear (Qualifications and Skills):

  • Active Status: Current active teaching status, PADI Divemaster/DSD Leader certification.
  • Proven Ability: Demonstrable experience teaching various PADI courses and operating independently within standards.
  • Customer & Sales Savvy: Experienced in providing excellent customer service, promoting, and clearly communicating our course offerings.
  • Flexible & Adaptable: Ready to adjust your schedule to meet the exhilarating demands of a peak season business.
  • Right to Work: Must possess the legal right to work in Cyprus (EU passport or Cyprus residency).
  • Languages: Fluent in English, communications skills. Other languages are a benefit.
  • Equipment:
    Own a full set of serviceable equipment.
  • Work Environment: Possesses the ability to perform effectively in high summer temperatures.
