Diversity Coordinator

Based in our Los Angeles office, the Diversity Coordinator will assist with planning and coordinating logistics for local and firmwide diversity-related events. The position will also play an integral role in assisting with various department projects.
The role reports to the Associate Director in the Diversity Department and will also work closely with all members of the team.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end logistics and coordination for Diversity programming across various offices, including circulating event invitations, making reservations, tracking attendance and required follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Handling conference room reservations, catering and A/V requests for internal meetings and events.
- Providing on-site logistical support for local office events on an as-needed basis.
- Maintaining Diversity department calendars for internal and external events.
- Providing administrative assistance for programming.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and strong logistical and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, work efficiently and pivot between assignments efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to see a project through to completion.

- Timeliness with work product and ability to meet deadlines amidst shifting priorities; prompt and responsive to emails and requests from other team members and other departments.

- Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills to interact with clients, attorneys, and staff at all levels within a large law firm setting.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours when necessary to meet operating and business needs. Flexibility to travel as needed. May include some evening and weekend work.
- Must be able to work onsite on an as-needed basis to support in-person events and programs.
Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Two years of work experience, preferably in a law firm or similar industry is highly preferred.
- Experience working in and/or knowledge of the legal industry or other global professional services firm, including recent trends and general structure of law firms.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $70,000-85,000. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
