Job Title: Dockworker

Department: Warehouse Department

Reporting Relationship: Warehouse Supervisor

Summary of Responsibilities: The Warehouse Dockworker is responsible for assisting with the stripping of containers and deliveries of cargo to consignee at the Warehouse.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist Foreman and Tallyman with stripping of containers.

• Assist with inspection and counting of cargo on pallets
• Assist with labeling and loading of cargo

1. Store cargo in warehouse.

• Assist forklift operators (when needed) with safe storage and handling of cargo.

1. Loading of cargo for deliveries to consignee

• Assist with the tallying of the pallets
• Deliver cargo unto consignee’s vehicle

1. Assist in general cleaning of Warehouse
2. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• 3-5 years professional experience
