DORMITORY SUPERVISOR
- Location: Woodland
- Working Hours: 5.5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Sat: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM )
- Willingness to commit to extended hours when required
Job Description:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the worker dormitory
- Monitor resident check-in, check-out and room allocation activities
- Maintain accurate occupancy records and resident information
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms, common areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with dormitory rules
- Enforce dormitory regulations, house rules and company policies
- Handle residents' enquiries, complaints and welfare matters, escalating major issues to the Dormitory Manager when required
- Monitor housekeeping, security, waste management and maintenance activities
- Coordinate repair and maintenance requests and follow up on rectification works
- Ensure dormitory facilities, equipment and common areas are properly maintained
- Monitor access control, visitor registration and security arrangements
- Assist in incident investigations and preparation of incident reports
- Support emergency response activities, fire drills and evacuation exercises
- Ensure compliance with MOM, FEDA, SCDF and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Liaise with service providers, contractors and government officers during inspections and site visits
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports
- Support worker welfare programmes and resident engagement activities
- Perform after-office-hour duties and emergency response when required
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in dormitory operations, facilities management, property management, worker accommodation or related field
- Familiar with MOM and FEDA requirements for worker accommodation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and manage a multi-national resident population
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Able to work independently and respond to emergency situations outside normal working hours when required
