Drafter for building projects
The Role
We are looking for a mid-level Architectural Drafter to join our team. You will be responsible for producing and managing construction drawings across our interior works projects — from architectural and ID shop drawings to coordination and submission management — and are expected to operate independently on site and in meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and revise architectural, interior, ceiling, and partition drawings in AutoCAD and Revit to construction and shop drawing standards
Coordinate drawings with other trades (M&E, structural, specialist fit-out) and identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks
Attend project coordination meetings independently, raise RFIs and technical queries with main contractors and consultants
Manage drawing submissions, revision tracking, and approval workflows in line with project schedules
Interpret architectural and ID intent drawings and translate them into buildable shop drawings
Liaise with site supervisors and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy reflects site conditions
Support BIM deliverables where required by contract
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related field
3–6 years of experience in a drafting or BIM role within the construction industry, preferably in interior fit-out or M&E coordination
Proficient in AutoCAD (required) and Revit (required); working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection
Experience with ceiling systems, drywall partitions, or ID fit-out works is a strong advantage
Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and services drawings
Comfortable attending coordination meetings and communicating independently with main contractors and consultants
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously
What We Offer
Stable, full-time position with a well-established subcontractor
Exposure to diverse project types across commercial, healthcare, and institutional sectors
Collaborative team environment with direct involvement in project delivery
