Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers, engineers, supervisors, and coordinators to develop conceptual design into detailed 2D and 3D drawings for site preparation and construction works.
- Prepare and update working drawings issued by the project or sales department.
- Produce shop drawings, cut-size drawings, and as-built drawings for submission and approval.
- Coordinate architectural and structural drawings for shop drawing submissions.
- Prepare layout and cutting drawings for structural decking and roofing installation works.
- Compile and maintain as-built drawings upon project completion.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings and identify discrepancies or conflicts.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, specifications, and good engineering practices.
- Manage multiple drafting tasks within tight deadlines and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of construction specifications, scope of work, and construction sequencing.
- Experience in coordination of architectural and structural drawings.
- Ability to identify design discrepancies and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution.
- Familiar with requirements of relevant authorities such as BCA, SCDF, LTA
- Proficient in: AutoCAD (2D/3D), Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of BIM software (Revit / ArchiCAD) / Tekla Structures is an advantage.
- Experience in roofing systems and structural decking is preferred.
- Experience in MRT or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in drafting / BIM / construction coordination.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive working attitude.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
