Driver & Cashier

Job Summary

• We are seeking two team members to operate a food truck at NUS U Town: one driver/cashier and one food sampler/sales assistant. Both roles involve engaging with customers and supporting daily food truck operations with flexible full-time or part-time schedules.

Responsibilities

Driver and Cashier

• Drive the food truck safely using manual transmission to ensure timely service
• Manage cash transactions accurately to maintain financial integrity
• Operate the food truck during scheduled days, including Thursdays

Food Sampler and Sales Assistant

• Promote food items actively to university students to increase sales
• Conduct food sampling to engage customers and encourage purchases
• Communicate clearly in Chinese and English to serve diverse customers
• Support food truck operations on assigned days, including Thursdays

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Class C driving license with manual driving experience (for driver/cashier role)
• Fluency in Chinese and English (for food sampler and sales assistant role)

Other Information

• Positions available for full-time and part-time, with preference for part-time
• Must be available to work at least two days per week, including Thursday
• Suitable for ad-hoc workers
