Driver-Mobile Unit - Mammography - Part Time
Experience:
Experience in CDL driving and operating vehicles, preferably mobile unit or tractor trailers
Skills:
- Ability to safely drive and operate CDL vehicles
- Basic mechanical skills to perform daily inspections and minor troubleshooting
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining logs and checklists
- Ability to interact professionally with healthcare staff and patients
- Valid CDL A or B driving license with a clean driving record and air brake endorsement
Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel across multiple service areas
- Ability to follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment when setting up the mobile unit
- Basic computer knowledge
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
Essential Functions:
- Transportation and Setup:
- Drive the mobile unit to designated locations in NY and PA
- Setup and break down the mobile unit at each site in a timely and efficient manner
- Transport the mobile unit between the storage garage and Lourdes Hospital as needed
- Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions
- Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, inspections, and any maintenance performed
- Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance such as oil changes, waste removal, tire checks, and other routine upkeep
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Wash unit at the end of each day
- Clean and sanitize the mobile unit floors
- Ensure the mobile unit is safe, functional, and presentable at all times
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain checklists and maintenance logs for mobile unit
- Document any issues or concerns that may arise during operations
- Register and check-in patients for mammography
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mobile unit operations.
Pay rate ranges from $18.60 - $29.02 per hour.
