Job Summary

A Van Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods by operating commercial vehicles, performing vehicle maintenance checks, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vans/Car over various distances to deliver goods on schedule while complying with traffic laws and safety regulations
• Plan and follow efficient routes for deliveries and collections
• Assist with or supervise the loading, securing, and unloading of items to prevent damage during transit
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluids and vehicle condition to ensure safety
• Maintain accurate travel logs, fuel consumption records, and delivery paperwork such as invoices and bills
• Adhere strictly to road safety regulations, weight restrictions, and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., Class 3, 4, or 5 in Singapore)
• Maintain a clean driving record demonstrating adherence to safety regulations
• Ability to handle long hours of driving and physical labor for loading/unloading of logistic items
• Use navigation tools effectively to support route planning and delivery accuracy
• Minimum of 3 years professional driving experiences.
• Willingness to work on flexible hours including evenings and public holidays.
