Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Table Games Shift Manager and Pit Manager, the Table Games Relief Manager will perform the duties of the Table Games Supervisor or Table Games Pit Manager based on business needs. In the role of Table Games Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activity of all table games, ensuring the gaming activity, and dealing procedures comply with the Table Games Department policies and procedures. The Table Games Floor Supervisor monitors and supports team members assigned to their areas, and additionally may conduct a variety of casino games, providing prompt and courteous service to all gaming patrons. In the role of Relief Games Manager will assist in managing gaming activity on a day-to-day basis to ensure the integrity of table games and poker room, as applicable. Will resolve issues and respond to guest concerns as they arise. Will assist other departments as a leader on the gaming floor when gaming or guest relation issues arise. Exercise good judgment in managing the operation of all games, within the limits of established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Floor Supervisor

  • Compliance with Catawba Nation Gaming Commission regulations, casino policies, internal controls, standard operating procedures and conducts all games in accordance with aforementioned regulations, policies, and controls.
  • Assists with training and supervision of all Table Games personnel.
  • Responsible for player ratings in assigned area.
  • Ensures dealer accuracy and corrects mistakes when needed.
  • Always promotes positive public/employee relations.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Assists in company functions.
  • Preform other duties as assigned

Pit Manager

  • Compliance with Catawba Nation Gaming Commission regulations, casino policies, internal controls, standard operating procedures and conducts all games in accordance with aforementioned regulations, policies, and controls.
  • Assists with training and supervision of all Table Games personnel.
  • Responsible for distribution, collection, inspection of, and inventory of cards, dice, and other table games equipment.
  • Responsible for all table games operations on their assigned shift and relaying any pertinent information to the other shifts.
  • Always promotes positive public/employee relations.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Assists in company functions.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by management.
