​Role Overview:

As a Data Engineer / DWH Developer, you will work on development and maintenance of our corporate Data Warehouse environment. You will participate in building and improving data pipelines, ETL processes, SQL logic and data models that support business reporting and analytics.

This role is a good fit for someone who likes working with data, SQL, databases and business logic, and wants to develop into a strong DWH/Data Engineering professional.

What you will work on

Role insights:

• Developing and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Working with large data sets from different telecom and business source systems.
• Designing, implementing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL logic.
• Loading, transforming and validating data in Oracle Data Warehouse environment.
• Working with relational and dimensional data models.
• Analyzing source data and understanding business rules behind the data.
• Supporting data quality checks, troubleshooting and production issue analysis.
• Working closely with BI, business and other IT teams.
• Participating in improvements and optimizations of existing DWH processes.

What makes you unique:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical knowledge).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and strong interest in databases, data engineering, ETL processes, and Data Warehouse development.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand data structures, business rules, and technical processes.
• Ability to investigate problems, think logically, and work with large volumes of data.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, scripting, or another programming language and willingness to develop further in this area.
• Eagerness to learn and work with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, and Data Warehouse concepts.
• Responsible, proactive, and communicative approach to teamwork, with good command of English.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience with Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL.
• Experience with ETL or data integration tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, Pentaho, or Azure Data Factory.
• Understanding of Data Warehouse modeling, data marts, or data pipeline development.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Qlik, SAP BusinessObjects, or similar) and interest in telecom data environments.
