ECOMMERCE EMPLOYEE

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for working as a team to accomplish set standards/goals for operating a successful E-Commerce department. All Duties can rotate and will be assigned the morning of operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • List books and media in a quick and accurate manner.
  • Accurately describe items being listed.
  • Meet or exceed daily production goals.
  • Fully and accurately describe items listed for auction, including, but not limited to:
    • Researching item to be listed.
    • Assigning an appropriate category.
    • Adding appropriate disclaimers.
    • Adding appropriate photographs.
    • Accurately describing item including any damage.
    • Measuring and adding accurate measurements to each listing.
    • Adding correct shipping and handling charges to each listing.
    • Accurately assign dates and times to each listing.
  • Track incoming product from stores with care and speed.
  • Accurately represent items in photographs and clean items when needed.
  • Photograph items for sale with clear pictures that sell the item.
  • Responsible for keeping the listers supplied with product.
  • Check all orders for address validation.
  • Create electronic files and print paper pack sheets for all orders.
  • Accurately pull orders from inventory.
  • Double check orders for accuracy.
  • Pack & ship all orders within 2 business day timeframe.
  • Maintain and feed Disc Re-Surface Machine (150 discs/day/machine).
  • Work with listing team to answer questions regarding shipping needs of auction items.
  • Generate and print paper pack sheets for all auctioned items.
  • Accurately pull orders from shelves for shipping.
  • Check orders for accuracy.
  • Package and prepare all orders for shipment.
  • Generate postage for each order.
  • Stage packages for pick-up by specified time.
  • Properly store/clean-up supplies orders for collectibles and maintain organized box inventory.
  • Conduct monthly inventory of supplies.
  • Responsible for keeping accurate inventory.
  • Shelve listed products on appropriate shelf by date.
  • Pull all sold merchandise from shelves.
  • Relist or recycle all unsold and unpaid merchandise.
  • Keep shelves organized by re-arranging merchandise.
  • Assist with customer service when needed.
  • Accept and processes jewelry donations.
  • Assumes responsibility for quality control of donations processed.
  • Maintains accurate and consistent prices.
  • Apply price tags to all jewelry not accepted for E-Commerce.
  • Allocate proper inventory to store.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Basic knowledge of books.
  • Reports for scheduled work regularly and on time. Notifies supervisor as soon as possible regarding the need and expected duration of any absence.
  • Maintain clean and organized stocked work and storage areas.
  • Meet or exceed productivity goals.
  • Maintains high quality and high quantity in processing goods.
  • Use correct lifting and material handling techniques and follows Goodwill safety procedures.
  • Comply with all Goodwill policies and procedures, CARF standards and safety and security regulations.
  • Must be able to pass an Oregon Department of Human Services criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening test. These are non-negotiable.
