Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to function as the installation's testing program manager and educational advisor. Responsible for oversight and administration of the Air Force Military Personnel Testing System (AFMPTS) and Voluntary Education Testing Program. Provides educational and vocational advisement incorporating testing requirements and establishing career plans and goals. Duties: 1. Provides individual career, academic and force development advisement to military personnel, dependents and civilian personnel pursuing Voluntary Education opportunities. 2. Counsels military personnel, dependents, and eligible civilian personnel on military and academic testing programs and provides advisement on career development and voluntary education programs. Serves as subject matter expert on all testing programs and advises, base leaders and Service members. 3. Manages the Foreign Language Proficiency Pay & Bonus (FLPP/FLPB) programs. Ensures all requirements for FLPP/FLPB eligibility are met in accordance with applicable directives. 4. Administers military personnel tests for mission-specific requirements related to procurement, aptitude, promotion, proficiency, and qualification standards. 5. Performs a variety of administrative support duties for the Education & Training Section.
