EHS SAFETY COORDINATOR

Roles & Responsibilities

· Conduct daily toolbox meetings before start of work day

· Daily site walk inspections to ensure safety compliance

· Assist with job safety analysis, job instruction training, safe work procedures and method statements

· Conduct safety audits

· Manage the permit to work system and ensure rules and regulations are in accordance with relevant procedures

· Investigate and report all incidents to Safety Officer / Safety Manager and recommend actions to prevent future recurrence

· Liaise with contractors, sub-contractors and relevant authorities on matters pertaining to safety

· Conduct safety training for workers

· Attending to other ad hoc matters assigned by the Safety Officer / Safety Manager


Qualifications / Requirements

· Minimum NITEC / Professional Certification in any field

· Preferably with some experience in Mechanical Engineering field

· Preferably with experience in Project Management

· Must have Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health

· Must be willing to work at site

· Own transport a huge plus
