Electrical Engineer (Hardware Design)

About the role:

  • Act as the main point of contact between the automation engineering team and relevant internal and external stakeholders.

  • Independently deliver customer projects focused on hardware engineering using Siemens COMOS and EPLAN 2024.

  • Take ownership of project execution, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and technical requirements are successfully met.

  • Support the sales process by estimating engineering effort and contributing to project planning.

  • Manage and maintain electrical circuit diagrams, ensuring all changes are accurately tracked and implemented.

  • Coordinate the planning and manufacturing of control cabinets, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.

  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing engineering processes, standards, and products.

About you:

  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, a technical qualification, or a comparable field.

  • Have experience in electrical circuit design and control cabinet planning, ideally using Siemens COMOS and EPLAN.

  • Have knowledge of SAP (considered an advantage).

  • Are able to read and interpret P&ID diagrams.

  • Have a basic understanding of process engineering (preferred).

  • Work independently with a structured, customer-oriented approach.

  • Communicate confidently in English and are willing to travel occasionally (less than 5%).
