Facilities- Electrician

General Position Summary:

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of casino property under the guidance of the Facilities Director. Performs technical maintenance duties as required. Performs some payroll and administrative duties.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Must be able to use a multi-meter and troubleshoot equipment using a schematic or a wiring diagram.
• Must be able to manage and motivate employees.
• Must possess experience in all aspects of building maintenance to include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and refrigeration.

Secondary Functions:

• Ability to use power tools

Specific Job Skills:

• Install, maintain, and repair facility, equipment, and grounds.
• Monitor facility systems and equipment, and make adjustments and repairs as necessary.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
• Maintains continuity among shifts by documenting engineering actions; noting systems or equipment irregularities requiring continued monitoring.
• Complies with required codes and standards by directing and monitoring the work of vendors and staff; inspecting systems and equipment.
• Implements changes, expansions, and additions to systems and equipment by identifying problems.
• Manage and coordinate the work of the Engineering Department and overseeing the quality of the technical maintenance of the casino.
• Work with other departments solving engineering related complaints and problems.
• Direct all service vendors.
• Manage multiple projects within strict time constants.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
