EMEA Logistics Specialist

The position is responsible for the management and development of the Transport Management System (TMS) at the EMEA level, transportation data analysis, and the transformation of data into management decisions.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Ownership and development of the TMS solution for EMEA (processes, data, reporting, integrations).
  • Integration of carriers and logistics partners (including LLP) into the TMS environment.
  • Ensuring standardized and reliable reporting for EMEA management.
  • Translating data into concrete corrective actions in the areas of cost, performance, and transportation quality.

Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:

  • Define and maintain the transportation data model (ERP / TMS / external sources).
  • Analyze transportation network performance (OTD, OTP, OTIF, OTCC, costs, lead time).
  • Identify trends, deviations, and risks within EMEA transportation.
  • Propose and monitor corrective actions (cost, service, network optimization).
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for EMEA logistics and management.
  • Support decision-making related to transportation network changes, routing, and pricing logic.
  • Cooperate with the LLP on KPI setup, data quality control, governance models, and SLA management.
  • Support process and reporting standardization across EMEA.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Perform all other tasks related to the agreed type of work as instructed by the direct supervisor.
  • Follow procedures, rules, and principles of the integrated management system.
  • Work in accordance with international trade compliance (ITC) regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and adherence to standards focused on key areas: customer, company culture, and continuous improvement system.
  • Submit improvement proposals aligned with company objectives within the continuous improvement framework.
  • Respect environmental protection principles.

Job Specification:

Education:

  • A degree or professional certification in Logistics, Business Management, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics.

Language Skills:

  • English – active / professional working proficiency.

IT Skills:

  • Advanced/expert working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, functions, macros).
  • MS Access / Power BI / Business Intelligence – an advantage.
  • Practical experience with Power BI and reporting.

Professional Skills:

  • Experience with TMS, ERP systems (Oracle), and data analytics.
  • Strong data orientation with focus on root cause analysis and solution development.
  • Practical experience with Power BI/reporting.
  • Ability to work in an EMEA/global environment.
  • Experience with 3PL / LLP is an advantage.

Personal Competencies:

  • Integrity, teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate issues in relation to current processes and propose alternative solutions.

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Nové Mesto nad Váhom locality is between 18 645€ to 23 306€ gross per year —salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
