Emergency Medical Technician

Summary of main duties:

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls calmly and professionally
• Provide life-saving care, including resuscitation and trauma support
• Safely drive and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment
• Communicate with hospitals and medical teams for coordinated patient care
• Complete detailed reports and maintain patient confidentiality
• Assist with scene control, patient transport and family support
• Support event standby, dispatch, shuttle and orderly duties as needed
• Handle payment processing and provide excellent customer service

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures, medical terminology and applicable current standards of care
• Knowledge of local geography
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Skilled in the operation of ambulances, medical equipment, radio and computer systems
• At least one (1) year experience in similar role
