Empties Cycle Counter (m/f/d)

What will be your responsibilities?

• Perform daily cycle counts of empty packaging to ensure accurate inventory records
• Report inventory discrepancies and irregularities according to defined procedures
• Inspect empty containers to ensure they are free of labels, waste, and remaining materials
• Clean and prepare empty packaging units for reuse
• Remove labels and separate waste materials (paper, plastic, etc.)
• Sort returnable containers (e.g. KLT) according to defined packaging types
• Palletize sorted containers according to operational standards
• Place prepared pallets into designated empties areas for further handling and return to suppliers
• Support smooth material flow of returnable packaging within warehouse operations
• Maintain accuracy, cleanliness, and organization in the empties handling process
  

What do we expect from you?

• Secondary education (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience in warehouse operations or inventory counting is an advantage
• Experience with empties handling or cycle counting is a plus
• Basic computer skills (warehouse systems or terminals)
• Experience with SAP or similar systems is an advantage
• Basic numeracy skills (counting and quantity verification)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow standardized work instructions
• Ability to perform manual and repetitive tasks reliably
• Good sense of organization and workplace cleanliness
• Reliable and consistent working approach
• Willingness to work in a two-shift operation (launch of the second shift expected in September 2027)
