End User IT Support Engineer - Central Location

Provide efficient and dependable IT support to end users while ensuring the availability, stability, and optimal performance of the organization’s information and telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-user support, including troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of hardware, software, and IT equipment.
  • Evaluate, test, and deploy desktop hardware and software upgrades.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, housekeeping, backups, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Support the maintenance of operational procedures, system configurations, inventory tracking, and IT procurement processes.
  • Assist with user account management and system administration tasks.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software maintenance and support services.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and records.
  • Carry out additional duties or project-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Professional Certificate, Diploma, or ITE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic working knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to work effectively with users.
  • Prior experience in technical support, desktop support, or a similar role is an advantage.
