Engineer
In a safe and efficient manner, the Non-Certified Engineer operates and maintains boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators, air-conditioning facilities, and all appurtenant equipment driven by air, diesel, gas, water, or other power-developing energy. The Non-Certified Engineer patrols, inspects, and maintains all mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping, and plumbing systems and equipment to achieve the most economical and efficient operating results for the building.
Pay: $40.73 per hour
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators, air-conditioning systems, and all appurtenant mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Patrol and inspect mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping, and plumbing systems and equipment throughout the building on a routine basis.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on toilet facilities, registers, radiators, fixtures, minor repairs on furniture and floors, as needed.
• Stand watch on high-pressure boiler installations as assigned, without being required to violate any applicable State, County, or City ordinance, code, or law.
• Respond to building emergencies, equipment malfunctions, and tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate operating logs, maintenance records, and reports of work performed.
• Follow all Lockout/Tag-out and safety procedures in compliance with Article XXI – Safety Lockout Program and applicable Federal, State, and Local statutes.
• Work assigned shift schedules, including day, swing, or graveyard shifts, and respond to call-backs and emergency callouts in accordance with Article II.
• Assist Certified Engineers, Lead Engineers, and Chief Engineers with assigned mechanical maintenance projects.
• Patrol and inspect mechanical, HVAC, electrical, piping, and plumbing systems and equipment throughout the building on a routine basis.
