Engineer Data/ETL

What’s the Role:

A Major role within the UNITE program to participate in the migration of the data from one system to another using ETL Tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end‑to‑end data migration using ETL tools (Informatica), including analysing source and target systems and identifying key challenges
  • Engage stakeholders to understand data structures and ensure smooth integration into target systems
  • Apply database architecture expertise to support migration, including tuning and optimisation
  • Design and develop transformation scripts to enable accurate, efficient and scalable data migration
  • Build and optimise dashboards and reporting solutions (Power BI) to provide visibility into migration outcomes, data quality and performance

What do I need?

  • Strong experience with ETL tools and hands-on expertise with Informatica
  • Deep knowledge of database architecture, including query optimisation, performance tuning and data modelling
  • Experience across the full development lifecycle (requirements, design, build, testing, deployment and support)
  • Strong Analytics & BI capability, including Power BI (advanced DAX, semantic models, DirectQuery, Import mode, incremental refresh, RLS), dashboarding and KPI reporting
  • Ability to design scalable migration data models and transformation logic, with a focus on performance and accuracy
