Engineer Electrical & Electronics
The Engineer I – Electrical & Electronics Engineering will be responsible for the design, development, and localization of Busways, PDUs, single phase and three phase UPS systems, APT systems, and related accessories. The role involves engineering design, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of power electronic systems across these product lines.
The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including global engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and service, to ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective product development.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of power electronic converters and semiconductor switches.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems design, including control panels.
- Strong understanding of electrical panel wiring and associated software tools.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MATLAB simulation software.
- Ability to work with speed and accuracy to deliver manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
- Support prototype development, product certification, and validation activities.
- Lead localization initiatives for electrical components and subsystems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during development and production stages.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 7–8 years of relevant work experience.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in failure analysis of field-related issues.
- Hands-on experience in panel design as per IEC standards.
- Exposure to electrical switchgear such as MCBs, MCCBs, fuses, and their selection criteria.
- Knowledge of busbar design considerations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including component selection, wiring, layout, and testing.
- Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Visit manufacturing plants to support prototype development and other design-related activities from concept to prototype stage.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings and technical documentation.
