Role: Systems Engineer (MRT/LTA Rail Projects)

Navsar Global is partnering with a leading global leader in urban mobility to recruit a highly skilled and dedicated Systems Engineer. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to Singapore's state-of-the-art Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) network, with a specific focus on the development and implementation of new automated driverless lines for LTA projects. You will play a pivotal role in working directly with our esteemed client, ensuring the successful design, execution, and project management of these critical infrastructure advancements.

Contract Duration:

This is a one-year contract position, with a strong potential for extension for an additional year, offering a significant long-term engagement on high-impact projects.

Responsibilities:

Act as a key technical liaison, working directly with our client and LTA stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment.

Contribute to the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design and detailed engineering to system integration, testing, and commissioning, specifically for automated driverless MRT lines.

Support project management activities, including planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and progress reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Participate in the design review process, providing expert technical input and ensuring compliance with LTA standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements.

Oversee and support the execution phase, coordinating with various teams and contractors to ensure seamless implementation of rail systems.

Conduct technical investigations, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions during all project phases.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, technical specifications, and reports.

Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, global agency partners, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline).

Minimum of 1-5 years of proven experience in rail systems, mass transit, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Direct experience with MRT or LTA projects in Singapore is highly advantageous.

Familiarity with automated driverless train systems (e.g., CBTC, ATO) and associated technologies is a significant plus.

Understanding of project management principles, design processes, and execution methodologies within an engineering context.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced project environment.
