Engineer | Process Specialist for Assembly (f/m/div.)

Your contribution to something big:

  • Define equipment requirements and process specifications, ensuring alignment with Bosch guidelines and automotive industry standards;
  • Install, validate, and optimize new processes and equipment on assembly lines, including layout adaptations;
  • Establish parameters and methods for process capability studies;
  • Conduct pre‑acceptance and final acceptance of equipment with suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and Bosch rules;
  • Implement Yokoten practices within your area of responsibility to drive knowledge sharing and standardization;
  • Collaborate during product development phases to ensure robust and stable processes for new and existing products;
  • Work closely with product development teams to integrate process changes and improvements.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of standard PFMEA (Process FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential failure modes;
  • Ensure process stability through the development and maintenance of standard Control Plans;
  • Identify improvement opportunities in equipment performance and develop innovative solutions to enhance quality and efficiency;
  • Monitor process performance using KPIs (OEE, FPY, IRR, IDC, etc.) and statistical data, defining actions for continuous improvement;
  • Train maintenance and production teams on processes within your responsibility;
  • Actively contribute to the global process community (CN Team), sharing and defining new and existing technologies;
  • Lead and participate in problem‑solving activities and task forces related to assembly processes.

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial production environments, preferably in assembly processes;
  • Experience with equipment acceptance, process validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Know‑how

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, FMEA, RCM, TPM, and 8D methodologies;
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials, and mechanical technologies;
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, and pneumatics;
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.

Languages

  • Very good English skills, spoken and written.

  • Structured, analytical, and systematic approach to problem‑solving;
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong collaboration skills with national and international teams (IPN);
  • Willingness to travel.
