The Engineer Facility Coordinator is responsible for both coordinating and actively supporting facility engineering and maintenance operations. This role combines administrative oversight with hands-on involvement in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure efficient and reliable facility performance. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both office and field environments.
Pay: $38.00 - $40.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:
Facility Operations & Hands-On Support
Perform and assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical)
Support troubleshooting efforts and work alongside technicians to resolve facility issues
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facility systems to ensure proper operation
Respond to urgent maintenance requests and assist in resolving critical issues
Maintenance Coordination
Coordinate daily maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective work orders
Schedule and dispatch technicians, contractors, and vendors
Track work orders through CMMS (e.g., Maximo, ServiceNow) to ensure timely completion
Prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational impact
Administrative & Reporting Duties
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history
Track inventory, tools, and spare parts to ensure operational readiness
Assist with purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor coordination
Prepare reports on maintenance performance, downtime, and operational metrics
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and facility policies
Maintain documentation for inspections, permits, and regulatory requirements
Promote a safe work environment and participate in safety audits and training
Communication & Team Collaboration
Act as a liaison between engineering teams, operations, vendors, and clients
Provide updates on maintenance status, ongoing work, and facility issues
Support onboarding and coordination of contractors and service providers
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate’s degree preferred
3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, engineering coordination, or similar role
Proven hands-on experience with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)Experience working in commercial, industrial, or aviation environments preferred
Familiarity with CMMS/work order systems
