ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and develop a high-performing group of software engineers. You will act as a subject matter expert for the product areas your team owns, with autonomy over team operations and objectives, while receiving mentorship and coaching from leadership.

Job Description and Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead technical discussions with support from technical leads and architects to design effective solutions
- Foster a high-performance culture and promote cost-effective engineering practices
- Act as a technology evangelist by staying current with industry trends
- Contribute hands-on to software design, development, and system integration
- Oversee a Scrum team and ensure success through Agile leadership principles
- Drive organizational efficiency by applying best practices for SaaS products
- Allocate team members’ work strategically based on organizational priorities
- Manage workload planning, hiring, and performance evaluations
- Support continuous employee development and growth within the team
- Define and execute a strategic vision for your team’s domain
- Establish operational policies and drive ongoing process improvements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
- 2+ years of experience leading software engineering teams
- Hands-on experience building high-scale, high-load distributed systems
- Familiarity with modern programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and Python
- Experience with cloud-native architecture (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
- Ability to motivate teams and improve efficiency under pressure
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Structured approach to performance management and feedback
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
- Fluency in using AI tools for SDLC and process optimization
Preferred
- Experience working in or leading teams utilizing LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and embeddings

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
288 000 and 432 000PLNThe final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
