Engineering Painter

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform painting works throughout the hotel, including guestroom, public areas, back-of-house spaces and facilities, to maintain the property’s appearance and standards.
2. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, patching, sanding, and priming as required.
3. Apply paint, vanish, stains, and other protective coatings to plaster walls, ceiling, wooden surfaces, metalwork, and fixtures using appropriate tools and techniques.
4. Carry out touch-up painting and minor surface repairs to maintain the hotel’s aesthetic standards.
5. Ensure all painting works are completed safely, neatly, and in accordance with the hotel quality standards and workplace safety requirement.
6. Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition and ensure proper storage of paint and chemicals.
7. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum qualification of GCE 'N' level
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Able to start work within short notice period.
