About the Role
Our client, a growing industrial technology company, is seeking an experienced engineering and process safety professional to lead engineering governance, asset integrity, operational excellence, and process safety initiatives across its operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive engineering, asset integrity, and process safety standards across the organization.
- Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, including HAZOP, MOC, risk assessments, incident investigations, and permit-to-work systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and recognized engineering standards.
- Improve plant reliability, operational discipline, and safety performance.
- Lead technical reviews, audits, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations.
- Mentor engineering and operations teams while promoting a strong safety culture.
- Manage external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Support facility expansion and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in petrochemical, refining, gas processing, LNG, hydrogen, or similar process industries.
- Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management and engineering governance.
- Familiarity with international standards such as API, ASME, NFPA, IEC, and ISO.
- Proven leadership experience in high-hazard industrial environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
