Engineering Project Manager - Accessories

The in-region EPM will be responsible for managing the prototype builds of accessory products, utilizing program/project management skills to drive program schedule and resolve technical issues that enable on-time delivery. Role encompasses interfacing with EE, PD, DFM & module teas. Driving the full product life cycle as well as managing vendors who deliver strategic solutions. Minimum Qualifications Proven track record of managing complex hardware product schedules and engineering builds down to the small details Strong technical background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of relevant hardware engineering experience in consumer electronics 3+ years of project management experience OEM/ODM/JDM management experience Proactive and highly self-motivated; demonstrates critical thinking capabilities with strong attention to detail Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains flexible and calm when facing of uncertainty Ability to travel internationally and domestically BS / MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Preferred Qualifications 5 years of managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organization History of managing go to market activities Ability to think strategically, while driving tactical details Experience working with teams of diverse technical backgrounds and quickly learning from them
