Enrolled Nurse – Orthopaedics | Epworth Eastern
Opportunities are available for Enrolled Nurses to join our 50-bed Orthopaedic, ENT and Paediatric ward at Epworth Eastern (Box Hill), based in the expanded East Wing Tower. Flexible full-time and part-time permanent roles available.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing high quality nursing care and experience to patients
- Utilising a reflective, critical thinking and evidence-based approach to the clinical care of patients
- Working collaboratively with fellow members of the multidisciplinary team
- Engage patients and families in care planning and delivery
About Epworth Eastern
Located in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility with 14 theatres and expansion of ICU to 12 beds. Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology, urology and endoscopy services. Our redeveloped site delivers positive, meaningful, and sustainable impact on the health and well being of our community, delivering much needed health care services and facilities in Melbourne's east.
About You
You are passionate about delivering patient-centred care and achieving high-quality clinical outcomes, bringing a confident and professional communication style that enables you to build strong rapport with patients, VMOs and colleagues. With well-developed organisational skills, you are able to effectively prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced clinical environment, while remaining flexible, team-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum 2 years’ acute/surgical nursing experience (essential)
- Orthopaedic / ENT / Paediatric experience highly regarded
- Sound understanding of clinical standards, safety and infection control

The annual salary as at I July 2026 for a full time Enrolled Nurses – AUD $74,518 - $82,550 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
