About Auror

At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.

Founded in New Zealand 12 years ago, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re using technology for good.

Our mission is clear: reduce violent retail crime by 50% in 5 years. It's an ambitious goal - and one we believe is achievable. In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.

We're also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact - whether that's enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we're committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.

The Role

Most of the retail industry is still fighting Organised Retail Crime with legacy tools and gut instinct. At Auror, we're changing that and we're looking for someone who wants to be at the centre of that shift.

North America is where the market is moving fastest, the deals are biggest, and the opportunity to build something lasting is real. We're looking for an enterprise seller who knows how to navigate complex stakeholders and is ready to work on something that genuinely matters. The people you'll be selling to — Loss Prevention and Asset Protection leaders — are actively searching for what Auror does. The problem is urgent, the ROI is demonstrable, and the platform has already earned serious credibility in market. Your job is to close the gap between retailers who need this and retailers who have it. Ideally, this role sits in Denver, CO, with the rest of the sales team, however, we are open to remote talent in most states.

Responsibilities

  • Building and executing a strategy that develops pipeline, accelerates deals, and systematically grows Auror's presence across North America

  • Building relationships with VP and C-suite Loss Prevention and Asset Protection leaders, and knowing how to move a multi-stakeholder deal forward without losing momentum

  • Running a disciplined sales process — managing the full cycle from prospecting through close, with the rigour that protects both win rate and customer experience

  • Leading compelling demos and presentations that connect Auror's platform to the specific operational and financial problems your buyers are trying to solve

  • Maintaining accurate pipeline visibility in CRM and giving leadership a clear, honest picture of where deals stand

  • Working closely with Customer Success at handover to ensure new customers are set up for fast time-to-value, not just signed

  • Representing Auror at industry events, building your profile in the Loss Prevention community, and influencing how the sector thinks about crime intelligence

  • Sharing field intelligence with Product, Marketing, and Partnerships so Auror stays sharp on what the market actually needs

This role reports to Caleb Robinson, Director, Sales

I’ve built my career around helping customers find the right solutions and watching that translate into real impact for their business. Spending 13+ years in SaaS sales has taught me that a great team is the foundation of everything which is why I am so passionate about growing the people I work with both personally and professionally. Auror’s mission to help communities thrive is something I take seriously and it is my job to inspire and lead that team(s) that directly make that happen for our customers. I am looking for people who are driven, curious, and genuinely care about the work they do. Outside of work you will find me snowboarding, seeing live music, hiking, playing sports, or chasing around my three young kids.

Requirements

  • You've carried a quota in enterprise SaaS and know what it takes to move a complex, multi-stakeholder deal from first conversation to close

  • You build relationships that outlast the deal, senior buyers trust you because you understand their world, not just your product

  • You run a tight process — your pipeline is real, your forecasts are honest, and you don't let deals go quiet without knowing why

  • You're analytically sharp using data to prioritise your territory, build account plans, and have a clear-eyed view of where your time creates the most leverage

  • You know how to differentiate in a competitive market — you don't lead with features, you lead with outcomes, and you can clearly articulate why Auror's approach gets retailers further than the alternatives

  • You can travel up to 30% — this is a relationship business and you show up in person when it counts

  • You know the retail or Loss Prevention space or you're genuinely curious about it and will do the work to get up to speed fast

We are looking for people who demonstrate a strong alignment to our Guiding Principles (you can find these on our Careers page).

With diversity and inclusion at the forefront of Auror’s guiding principles, we promote a culture that celebrates diversity and inclusiveness at Auror, regardless of, but not limited to, race, gender, sexual orientation, family status, religion, ethnicity, national origin, physical disability, veteran status, or age.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: Depending on level of experience a starting salary of $120,000 - $150,000 (IC5) with an OTE of $240,000 - $300,000 with uncapped earnings, tiered accelerators for overachievement, and spiffs throughout the year.

  • Employee share scheme: You’ll own part of a company making a real difference!

  • Flexibility: We are hard-working and outcome focused, but recognise there is more to life than work. We promote a healthy work/life blend.

  • Shorter work weeks (at full pay): Everyone gets Friday afternoons off, so you can start your weekend early, and do more of whatever it is that makes you happy.

  • Focus on mental and physical health: We understand how vital our health is and have policies to support your wellness, including Wellness Days, and up to $500 for expert sessions every year.

  • Health care plan (Medical, Dental & Vision): Auror covers 100% of the cost of your individual health insurance plan with Anthem & Metlife.

  • Family-friendly: We offer comprehensive paid parental leave - 12 weeks for birth parents and 6 weeks for non-birth parents following birth, adoption, or surrogacy, available to all Aurors from day one.

  • Personal growth: We support our team to participate in courses, conferences, or events that will help them develop their skills.

  • Team love: We have regular team lunches and social events where most (if not all) activities are during work hours.
