Enterprise Account Executive - Public & Private Sector
Our Account Directors are trusted advisors to both the public sector and financial institutions, driven by our mission to make the world a safer place and to build trust in blockchains. You will sell compliance, investigations, fraud, and security solutions that help Korean national security agencies, law enforcement, regulators, banks, payment processors, and fintechs detect, investigate, and report crypto-exposed risk, while safely enabling new business lines as part of their cryptocurrency strategy. This is a senior, hybrid role engaging directly with some of the most influential stakeholders across Korea's intelligence, defence, and financial services ecosystems, shaping how both government and traditional finance adopt and operate in the crypto ecosystem.
We are hiring an Enterprise seller to own the South Korea market as a single-country territory. You will work across two of our most strategic customer segments — National Security / Law Enforcement and Financial Services — in a role that combines strategic selling, market creation, and long-term customer partnership. The role requires adaptability across very different buying cultures, procurement processes, and customer maturity levels within Korea.
This is a true market-building role. You will not be handed a pipeline. Success requires strong outbound instincts, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to create demand in an evolving market where Chainalysis is still establishing its footprint.
In this role, you'll:
Own and exceed a country-level enterprise quota across both Public Sector (NatSec, Law Enforcement, Regulators) and Private Sector (Banks, Payment Providers, Fintechs) accounts in South Korea
Build and own your pipeline from the ground up, balancing priorities across two distinct customer segments
Establish trust and build strong relationships with Korean Intelligence, Defence, and Law Enforcement agencies, as well as senior stakeholders at Korea's largest financial institutions
Prospect, qualify, and close complex enterprise deals with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on compliance, risk, investigations, and security as they enter or expand in crypto
Evangelise Chainalysis solutions in a compelling yet approachable way, tailored to Korean market dynamics
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies specific to Korea, including positioning, messaging, and region-specific sales channels
Build deep, long-term customer relationships that drive expansion, renewals, and referrals
Demonstrate exceptional expertise in sales forecasting, ensuring precise and reliable predictions to drive informed decision-making
Partner closely with Solutions, PreSales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to shape positioning, feedback, and customer outcomes
We're looking for candidates who have:
12+ of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience selling into Korean financial institutions and/or Korean government, intelligence, defence, or law enforcement agencies
A proven track record of consistently exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
Demonstrated success in enterprise-level B2B SaaS sales with complex sales cycles, including closing multi-million dollar deals.
Experience selling compliance, risk, fraud, data, investigations, or security solutions
Established trusted relationships within the Korean financial services ecosystem and/or Korean National Security / Public Sector agencies
Strong understanding of Korean public sector procurement systems as well as financial services buying processes and regulatory considerations (e.g., FSC, FSS, KoFIU)
The ability to think like an entrepreneur and develop market segments from scratch
Demonstrated experience building markets or territories from the ground up
Articulate, enthusiastic, and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value
Track record in both new business development and strategic & tactical account development
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with limited structure
A passion to deliver on the Chainalysis mission to build trust in blockchains
Native-level Korean and business-level English fluency
Willingness to travel within South Korea as required
Nice to have experience:
Experience with Financial Intelligence, Investigations, Cyber Security, and/or Cryptocurrency Technologies
Knowledge of cryptocurrency, web3, and blockchain technology is advantageous but not required
AI at Chainalysis
AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.
AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.
