Job Title: Environment Supervisor

Location: Thailand

Role Purpose

The Environment Supervisor is responsible for leading and ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations, company standards, and sustainability targets at the site. This role focuses on driving environmental performance, strengthening governance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across waste, emissions, and sustainability programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of environmental standards, legal compliance, and regulatory requirements, ensuring effective environmental management across the site
  • Own and drive Environmental and Sustainability programs, including: Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) audits, ISO 14001 compliance, Line of Defense 1 standards
  • Monitor environmental performance indicators such as: water consumption, wastewater treatment, air emissions, waste management
  • Analyze trends and ensure targets are achieved, with timely escalation of risks or potential incidents
  • Take full accountability for environment-related licenses, permits, and reporting, including: air pollution control, waste and wastewater management
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive environmental awareness and campaigns
  • Establish governance processes to ensure: timely reporting of environmental incidents and closure of corrective and preventive action plans
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of environmental performance reports across all site operations
  • Lead environmental compliance training and awareness initiatives
  • Champion ISO 14001 activities, including:
    • Aspect and impact assessments
    • Internal and external audits
  • Participate in and drive site-level sustainability projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Govern waste management practices to ensure compliance with:
    • Local regulations
    • Company standards
    • Waste hierarchy principles
  • Lead sustainability reporting and audits, including corporate and external audits
  • Manage EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) reporting, consolidating data from utilities and factory operations
  • Drive and oversee waste management programs and compliance initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or relevant industries
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Environmental regulations
  • Pollution control (air, water, waste)
  • Environmental management systems (e.g. ISO 14001)
  • Proven ability to manage compliance programs and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in environmental reporting and audit processes
