Annual Wage Range: $83,134.40 - $114,309.80
Other Compensation: Eligibility for the Short-Term Incentive program and other applicable bonuses

You'll be the go-to expert for environmental compliance, working to ensure our regulatory compliance, optimize our processes and maintain a positive impact on our site & community.
This role is on-site in South Haven, Michigan and reports the Senior Technical Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities- Ensure Compliance: Manage and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, and reporting deadlines.
- Permit Expertise: Review, update, and manage environmental permits as needed, working collaboratively with regulatory agencies.
- Conduct Site Assessments: Perform regular site inspections to identify and address potential environmental concerns.
- WWTP & Utilities Optimization: Contribute to improvements in our on-site wastewater treatment plant and utility systems, enhancing efficiency and sustainability.
- Pollution Assessment & Solutions: Analyze environmental data related to air, land, water, and waste generation, recommending solutions to minimize environmental impact.
- Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the key point of contact with environmental regulatory agencies.
- Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Environmental preferred), or a related field
- 1-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1-5 years experience in an environmental compliance role within a manufacturing environment
- EGLE certifications as an Industrial Storm Water operator and/or Industrial Wastewater operator, are preferred but can be obtained following employment
