Equipment Engineer
Overview
Coordinates Company owned and rented equipment maintenance, licensing and utilization records for assigned project or District.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Assists in managing all vehicle licensing, registration and record keeping for all assigned project vehicles
- Inspections of equipment and parts
- Logistics management and communication
- Long/short range equipment planning and scheduling
- Support of craft maintenance technicians – ordering parts, manage inventory, schedule crews, and manage quality and safety
- Perform additional assignments per management’s direction
- Schedules and monitors all vehicle and equipment maintenance and oil changes
- Schedules all crane inspections to ensure timely and compliant maintenance
- Works closely with all third-party equipment rental vendors to track hours, hire dates and total hours used. Maintains project utilization schedule for assigned project or District
- Maintains knowledge of Company’s values and strategic plan
- Support published corporate policies.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s in a related field preferred
- Driver’s License required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to identify issues and recommend solutions to management.
- Knowledge of corporate billing software and MS Office Suite preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple projects at once while prioritizing tasks
- Willingness to work in both office and field environments
- Strong work ethic
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
