Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Electro-Films is currently seeking applicants for an Equipment Maintenance Technician.
Job Location:
Vishay Electro-Films is located in Warwick, RI.
What you will be doing:
Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment
Use test and diagnostic equipment as required
Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required
Perform equipment modifications as directed by Equipment engineer
Calibrate equipment as needed
Work with Process Engineering team on qualifications
Pay Rate is $25-$30 hourly based on experience
What you will bring along:
High school diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of related equipment maintenance experience required
Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing is an added advantage
Strong mechanical and electrical skills
Self-motivated and able to work with little to no supervision; excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Excellent time management skills
Comprehensive troubleshooting skills
Strong attention to detail required
Ability to perform all work functions with required PPE
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
