Equipment Operator I - Prep Cook

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I - PREP

  • 1st Shift, 5 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $14.88 - $18.00 (depending on experience)


OVERVIEW:

Select and weigh ingredients according to the recipe card instructions. Batch, stage, label, record, and issue ingredients used. Operates kitchen processing equipment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas

  • Inspect food products and follow (FIFO) first-in, first-out rotation of ingredients

  • Measure and weigh ingredients

  • Record operational or production data

  • Operate pumping systems

  • Follow work orders and instructions on recipe cards

  • Operate roasters, choppers, and other food processing equipment

  • Use of a handheld scan gun to issue material to jobs and move inventory in DEACOM

  • Assist Kettle Cooks when needed

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50-65 pounds up to four feet high without assistance.

  • Required to bend, stoop, pull, and push in the performance of job duties.
