Equipment Specialist

The primary purpose of this position is to serve in a PALACE Acquire (PAQ) centrally managed position in the Logistics Career Field. This is a developmental position requiring the performance of assignments that are designed to further develop applicable analytical and evaluative skills and techniques.

Performs developmental assignments of moderate difficulty where work procedures are established and a number of specific guidelines exist. Participates with higher-graded specialist in performing a variety of conventional equipment specialist duties using established equipment specialist principles, concepts, and methodologies. Assists higher-graded equipment specialists in determining current maintenance requirements through review and analysis of data considering policies, procedures, and technical data requirements.
