What you'll do
Own the company-wide implementation and operation of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition, from fit-to-standard design and configuration through testing, migration, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Define the future-state business processes that will underpin Hypersonica’s operations across finance, procurement, supplier management, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, quality, maintenance, sales, and logistics.
Act as the single point of accountability for the SAP programme, owning the roadmap, delivery plan, implementation partners, critical decisions, dependencies, risks, and business readiness.
Translate complex and often incomplete operational requirements into scalable, standardised SAP processes that support speed, traceability, and production readiness.
Challenge unnecessary customisation and guide teams towards clean, fit-to-standard processes rather than building fragile workarounds.
Build the master data, governance, access, approval, and reporting structures required to make SAP the company’s operational source of truth.
Own the implementation of serial and batch traceability, production orders, inventory control, quality records, procurement workflows, and other controls required for high-consequence hardware manufacturing.
Lead system integration between SAP and Hypersonica’s wider technology environment, including engineering, manufacturing, HR, CRM, reporting, identity, document management, and other business-critical platforms.
Own the rollout and optimisation of associated SAP products, including SAP Sales Cloud and SAP SuccessFactors, where they support the wider business systems architecture.
Establish the SAP operating model, including process owners, super users, training, support, release management, regression testing, issue escalation, and continuous improvement.
Drive adoption across the business, ensuring teams use the system correctly and that parallel spreadsheets, disconnected workflows, and unofficial sources of truth are removed.
Build clear programme and systems reporting for leadership, including implementation progress, adoption, data quality, risks, control gaps, and business outcomes.
Select and manage implementation partners and software vendors, ensuring they deliver against Hypersonica’s pace, quality bar, and operational requirements.
Ensure business systems remain secure, controlled, audit-ready, and aligned with relevant quality, financial, security, and regulatory expectations.
Who you are
A senior SAP or enterprise systems leader with a proven record of implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition across a complex physical-product business.
You have led a major ERP implementation end to end, not simply supported one module or maintained an already mature system.
Experienced across multiple operational domains, ideally including manufacturing, procurement, inventory, warehousing, finance, quality, maintenance, and supply chain.
Strong in business process design and able to turn fragmented company practices into coherent, scalable operating processes.
Deeply familiar with fit-to-standard implementation and confident challenging executives and functional leaders when unnecessary customisation creates long-term risk.
Comfortable owning implementation partners, programme plans, budgets, dependencies, data migration, testing, training, cutover, and business adoption.
Able to operate credibly with both senior leadership and functional users, translating between operational needs, system architecture, and implementation reality.
Technically literate across integrations, APIs, identity and access, master data, permissions, reporting, and business application architecture.
Experienced in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, automotive, hardware, or another environment where traceability, configuration, and operational discipline matter.
An operator rather than a systems theorist: you care about whether the system is used, whether the data is trusted, and whether the business runs better because of it.
Comfortable building from zero in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve and critical decisions cannot wait for perfect information.
High judgement and low ego: able to impose structure without importing heavyweight corporate process or consultant dependency.
