ERP Specialist
Wood is recruiting an ERP Specialist to join our global ERP implementation team. You will provide functional support for ERP Finance, Projects and Supply Chain application activity.
This is a UK-based remote role, and we welcome applications from candidates across the UK.

The Role
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality system and operational support that maximises commercial value while minimising risk, in line with Wood’s policies and procedures. Working as part of a collaborative, high-performing team, you’ll engage with stakeholders across global and regional functions to understand business needs, translate requirements into effective solutions, and support the successful delivery of ERP initiatives.
You’ll bring a solution-focused and proactive mindset, using your operational expertise to identify inefficiencies, drive continuous improvement, and see tasks through to completion. With strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a high level of integrity, you’ll be confident working independently while managing competing priorities in a diverse, global environment.

- Requirement and adhering to ERP Systems Processes and Wood Policies and Procedures
- Ensure all weekly & monthly system routines are completed in a timely manner
- Report back key issues, risks, and challenges to the ERP System Team Leads to allow
- the formation of medium-term business plans
- Escalates to and works with technical resources for problems that cannot be resolved in-team
- Produce documentation including procedures, process flows, and instructions to support business queries and system changes
- Ensure during system updates, enhancements, or deployments, execute test scripts for System
- Integration testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Provide user training and frontline user support including troubleshooting
- Provide data maintenance & management support
- Undertakes any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the smooth running of the company

Expected:
- Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent years of experience within systems
- Able to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams on regional and global levels
- Able to Identify stakeholder needs and refers as appropriate
- Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility for broad objectives, priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Able to articulate business benefits of systems
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar role for ERP solutions is preferable
