ESaaS - SAP - Functional - OTC - SD
The role will primarily involve supporting and optimising SAP SD capabilities integrated with SAP FI, custom Z-programs, and external operational platforms. The environment is heavily integration-driven, with SAP acting as a commercial settlement, pricing, billing, and reconciliation platform rather than a traditional end-to-end logistics execution solution.
The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Integration, and Technical teams to support ongoing transformation initiatives, improve billing processes, and enhance SD-related functionality across multiple business domains.
Key Responsibilities
SAP SD Functional Support
- Configure and support SAP SD processes related to:
- Billing
- Pricing
- Customer invoicing
- Revenue processing
- Retail sales integration
- Support SAP SD integration with SAP FI/AR
- Assist in issue resolution across sales and billing interfaces
- Work with custom Z-programs supporting sales and finance operations
Billing & Pricing
- Maintain and enhance:
- Pricing procedures
- Condition techniques
- Billing document processing
- Customer charging mechanisms
- Support recurring and batch billing processes
- Analyse and improve pricing and billing automation
Integration & Interfaces
- Work with external operational systems feeding SAP sales and billing data
- Support batch processing and inbound sales interfaces
- Collaborate with middleware and technical teams on:
- Sales uploads
- Stock movements
- Customer billing integrations
- Reconciliation processes
Retail Parts & Commercial Processing
- Support retail parts sales processes integrated into SAP
- Assist with sales reconciliation and commercial reporting
- Support stock and sales data uploads from external systems
- Help maintain sales-related master and transactional data integrity
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with:
- Finance teams
- Business analysts
- Technical developers
- Integration teams
- Support teams
- Participate in workshops, requirement gathering, and solution design
- Translate business requirements into SAP SD functional solutions
Documentation & Testing
- Produce functional specifications and process documentation
- Support SIT/UAT testing activities
- Assist with defect management and production support
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
SAP Experience
- Strong SAP SD functional consulting experience
- Good understanding of SAP FI/AR integration
- Experience with:

Technical & Integration Knowledge
- Experience working with:
- Custom Z-programs
- Batch interfaces

Experience supporting:
