Ethics & Induction Lead – 12-month secondment
Would you like to play a key role in leading and improving the organisation’s induction programme and ethics activities? We currently have a vacancy for an Ethics & Induction Lead. This role can be based from Preston, Frimley, or Glascoed, with regular travel to lead inductions.
As Ethics & Induction Lead, you will be responsible for both delivering an induction programme for new joiners to Shared Services, and leading the Ethics Officers network to resolve cases and champion ethical principles within the organisation.
This is an exciting, dual-hatted role enabling you to have a real impact on driving culture and behaviour within the company.

Your main responsibilities as Ethics & Induction Lead will include\:
Induction\:
· Lead an improvement agenda to create a truly exceptional induction programme that leaves a lasting first impression
· Design captivating content, presentations and digital resources that bring our story, culture and values to life
· Work alongside subject matter experts to keep content fresh, relevant, and impactful
· Reinforce our culture, values, strategic objectives and compliance requirements from the outset of employment
· Deliver dynamic induction sessions using face-to-face, virtual and blended approaches to connect with a wide range of new starters
· Track success through surveys, data and feedback to continually evolve our induction offering
· Act as the process owner for induction, ensuring it’s informative and compliant
· Maintain supporting documents such as new starter packs, line manager checklists etc.
Ethics\:
· Have oversight of business Ethics Officers, training and leading the line of business Ethics Officer Network, including refreshing the network where required
· Undertake the resolution of line of business ethics cases – varying in level of complexity
· Manage the roll out of the annual Business Conduct Training to all employees in Shared Services
· Analyse and identify emerging ethical issues, trends and reputational risks to inform the Chief Counsel and Senior Management Team, supporting the Ethics Officers to provide mitigation and producing meaningful reporting to illustrate key trends
· Act as an ambassador for the Code of Conduct to champion ethical principles and values within the organisation, supporting employees to deliver the ethical standards expected of them
· Support in building trust and confidence amongst employees about the processes to address ethical concerns
· Collaborate with Ethics leads across the Group to understand trends and learn from best practice
Your skills and qualifications\:
· Previous experience / involvement with Ethics community (eg. experience as Ethics Officer) and/or Experience of running workplace investigations
· A strong delivery focus with the drive to make things happen
· A flair for creativity and innovative thinking
· Strong communication skills, able to inspire and influence at all levels
· Approachable and sensitive to employees’ concerns
· Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, able to engage diverse audiences
· Highly organised, with proven project management skills and attention to detail
· Proven experience in managing stakeholders effectively
· Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across a variety of different teams and seniority
· Ability to understand and maintain independent judgement
· Ability to understand trends and able to translate these into actions and objectives for internal initiatives
· Cross-business awareness and ability to adapt approach to match business operations
· Analytical and reporting skills, ability to interpret data and draw conclusions and provide narrative
Location\: Preston ideally – Frimley and Glascoed will be considered. Regular travel will be required (including monthly travel between sites to deliver employee inductions)
