Event Coordinator

Queensland Cricket | Brisbane – Full Time

From Planning to Game Day – Be part of the Action

We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering outstanding live sport and event experiences.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of Brisbane Heat match days and Queensland Cricket events, supporting delivery from planning through to execution and helping create engaging experiences for fans, partners and stakeholders.

What you’ll step into

• A role directly involved in the delivery of Brisbane Heat match days and key Queensland Cricket events
• Exposure across all areas of event operations including fan experience, presentation and logistics
• The opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape engaging and innovative event experiences
• A collaborative team environment working across multiple departments and partners

About the role
You’ll support the coordination and delivery of events across Queensland Cricket, with a strong focus on Brisbane Heat match days.

This includes:

• Supporting the delivery of match day operations, fan experience, entertainment and cricket logistics
• Assisting with the planning and execution of Queensland Cricket events
• Coordinating event presentation elements across BBL and WBBL matches
• Working with internal teams, venues, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery
• Contributing to continuous improvement of event delivery and fan experience

About you

• Experience in events, sport, hospitality or live environments is highly regarded
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Confidence working across multiple stakeholders
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
