Event Sales Coordinator

As our Event Sales Coordinator, you will support the Sales team in bringing events at Hyde Melbourne Place to life. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys the fast-paced world of events and hospitality, with a role that combines event sales, planning, coordination and client management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the conversion of corporate and social/wedding enquiries from initial enquiry through to confirmation.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, invoices, and all supporting event documentation.
  • Coordinate corporate, wedding, and social events, ensuring all logistics are accurately planned.
  • Support venue tours and site inspections for prospective clients.
  • Liaise with venue, kitchen, and operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records, pipeline updates and reporting within Ivvy.

About You

  • Previous experience in event sales, coordination, or hospitality preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events at once.
  • Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
  • Confident communicator with strong client relationship-building skills.
  • Wxperience using Ivvy or a similar CRM/event management system is desirable.
