Event Specialist (Contract based role)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for leading and/or supporting the planning and execution of multiple virtual / hybrid / physical events.
- Manage events from initial planning through execution and reconciliation, including but not limited to, client management, stakeholder management, production management, project team management, budget management.
- Manage project budget and cost management.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and filed as appropriate.
- Always ensure safety compliances by the project team.
- Be client-facing and be accountable for deliverables to clients within agreed timeline.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, in relevant fields or in Events Integrated, Business, Computer / Information Technology etc.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc)
- Prior experience with planning and executing multi-faceted, complex integrated events (virtual, hybrid and physical) will be a bonus.
