Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Events Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating event operations while supporting sales and sponsorship activities across MediaComz’s event portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify, prospect, and secure new sponsors, exhibitors, and advertising partners.

· Help with the planning and smooth running of events, conferences, and masterclasses.

· Coordinate with venues, vendors, speakers, and participants so that logistics are well-managed.

· Work with our internal teams (marketing, content, operations) to make sure sponsor commitments are delivered as agreed.

· Represent MediaComz at events and meetings and share information about what we do.

· Support on-site event operations — including registration, guest support, and general troubleshooting when needed.

· Keep communication clear and consistent with clients, partners, and colleagues.

· Prepare and format emails, proposals, and basic reports when required.

· Maintain and update contact lists of sponsors, clients, speakers, and partners.

· Assist with identifying and reaching out to potential sponsors, exhibitors, and advertising partners.

Requirements

· Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.

· 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, sponsorship, or event management (experience in media, maritime, or industrial sectors preferred).

· Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Self-motivated, independent, and results-oriented with a keen eye for detail.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is an advantage.

· Willingness to travel occasionally for events and client meetings.
